Gamer Builds Nuclear Reactor In Home - FBI Storms House

An out of work computer whiz who's family asked not to have his name mentioned, were shocked when the FBI and Nuclear Regulatory Commission showed up at the front door.

The Man started studying physics since the eighth grade. He explained that he is a science buff who has been fascinated by nuclear reactions and radiation all his life.

He as always been curious how things work and always created experiments down in this basement. People do it in universities all the time," he said. "It's just not usual that somebody does it outside of a university.

This time he decided to create a small scale nuclear reactor after he appropriated a small amount of uranium. The man then planned on creating a small nuclear reaction down in the room he plays his video games in.

Someone reading his blog contacted the federal authorities after he blogged that he had possession of a small amount of uranium and told bloggers the background radiation in his home doubled.

When the FBI and Nuclear Regulatory Commission were done with their check, they determined that everything was within reason. The FBI removed the experiment at his parents imploration.

Federal investigators said they found slightly elevated levels of radiation in the house but nothing considered dangerous. They consider the case Closed, no charges will be filed against the man.
